I’m super excited to be hosting 5 Favorites for Jenna the next few weeks while she takes a much needed break.
Of course, I probably wouldn’t complain if I got chocolate or ice cream for Mother’s Day. They’re kind of my weakness. BUT, if you’re looking for something a little bit more natural or useful, here’s a few ideas for you.
I’m pretty sure every woman loves getting flowers. But if my husband is going to spend the money on flowers, I like the idea of getting a plant instead of cut flowers. They’ll last longer (some plants flower all summer long) and you can usually get a lot more flowers for the same price or less.
2. Homegrown Collective Subscription
Homegrown Collective subscriptions can be for just a month or up to a year. The box comes at the beginning of each month and includes a seasonally appropriate kit to help you live a more natural, self-sustainable life.
The last couple of months have been things like making your own kumbucha, shampoo and all natural cleaners. You can read my review of the cough and cold herbal remedy kit here. They all contain everything you need and so far have been very practical and useful.

4. A Clean House
I personally wouldn’t mind if someone else cleaned up the kitchen and did a couple loads of laundry for me. Or watched the kids while I did it…
5. Essential Oils
I’m pretty sure any crunchy momma would love some essential oils. I can tell you that you’re probably pretty safe getting her lemon, lavender, peppermint or Balance.
You can read a few of my favorites here and what they can be used for. I’m a big fan of DoTerra or Young Living because they’re high quality.
What’s on your wish list this year?
