I finally got everything up on the walls again (why did that take me so long? It takes like 2 seconds to hang a picture) after our big project I mentioned the other day.
And while I still have grand plans to replace all the flooring, a couple light fixtures, the counter tops and paint the cabinets, I’ll show you what we accomplished last month.
Anyway, to give you an idea of the color we had before, here’s a couple pictures.
And this one I shared a couple of days ago.
If you want to check out what these rooms looked like before, you can check out this post.
The colors I landed on were Benjamin Moore Cottonball for the walls and Benjamin Moore Simply White for the trim.
The walls are a warm white that looks good in all my lighting situations (South window, north window and dark hallway).
The trim isn’t too warm and isn’t too cool so it also works with all the other paint colors we currently have going on.
The hallway looks much brighter and happier. So much so that I had to use a lower wattage light bulb because it was a little blinding with a 60 watt (which is what I had before).
A new TV stand is on my wish list…but one thing at a time.
And I’m thinking about painting the front door another color, but I haven’t decided yet.
I just love the white against our wood beams and the vaulted ceiling.
Can’t you just picture hard woof floors (or a look alike) throughout and a comfy rug in the living room? I can’t even get over how good it will look…at least in my brain haha
Have you struggled to just finish a project before too? This one was a doosy…and it’s not even that big of a house.
